Keruk50

The KRKxx0050 is a special project created to celebrate the 50th pair of Keruk Jeans. It is a vintage-inspired jacket made with exclusive 14 oz denim from Nihon Menpu Mills, dyed in natural indigo (aizome). The fabric features a light blue shade with subtle grey undertones. True aizome denim is extremely rare on the market—the holy grail for denim enthusiasts—and this particular fabric is crafted from 100% organic cotton.

True to the Keruk Jeans tradition, this jacket is completely hand-stitched with linen thread. The front panels feature Norwegian-style embroidery, recreating the iconic hook design signature to every pair of Keruk Jeans. The production number and unique ‘Keruk50’ logo are pyrographed onto the leather patch. Inside, the seams are fully clean-finished with bias/folded binding, leaving no raw edges visible. Water buffalo horn buttons give the jacket a refined, classic finish.

KRKxx0050は、ケルクジーンズの50作目を記念するスペシャルプロジェクトです。この特別な機会に、日本綿布社製のエクスクルーシブな藍染14オンスデニムを使用した、ヴィンテージ風のジャケットを制作しました。生地は淡いブルーの色合いで、その奥に見られる仄かなグレーのトーンが印象的です。真に藍染のデニムはマーケットにおいて非常に希少な、デニム愛好家の垂涎の的であることに加え、この生地は100％オーガニックコットン製です。
ケルクジーンズの精神に忠実に、このジャケットもリネンの糸で完全手縫いにより仕上げました。ジャケットのフロントには、ケルクジーンズのシグネチャーであるアイコニックなフックのデザインを再解釈し、ノルウェースタイルのステッチをほどこしています。プロダクション・ナンバー、そして「Keruk50」というユニークなロゴが、パイログラフィーによりレザーパッチに記されています。裏側は、すべての縫い目がクリーンに仕上げられておりバイアス／ フォールドバインディングで処理されているため、エッジ自体は見えません。水牛ボタンが、ジャケットのシックでクラシカルな仕上がりを引き立てています。
