Handmade is a term often used by many jeans makers on the market.
In my case, handmade carries its original, unambiguous meaning: I make my jeans using my hands, thimble, and needle.
I do not use any sewing machines, neither I own one.
I design, cut and sew every single jean by myself.
Every pair is made using the best materials: Japanese selvedge denim, strong linen thread, solid copper rivets, high quality leather.
Hand stitching heavy weight denim requires precision, patience, and strength.
It is a journey that takes up to ten days of hard work.
The result of this journey is a pair of Keruk Jeans.

”ハンドメイド”、市場において多くのジーンズメーカーに用いられている言葉。私の場合、”ハンドメイド”とは一切の曖昧さを排した文字通りの意味を有している：私は、自分の手と指貫、そして針を使ってジーンズを作る。
一切ミシンは使わないし、所有さえしていない。
私自身が、デザイン、カットし１本１本のジーンズを縫い上げる。
ジーンズは全て最高品質の素材を用いて作る：日本製セルベッジデニム、耐久性に優れた麻糸、銅製リベット、高品質レザー。
厚みのあるジーンズを手縫いするには、正確さ、忍耐力、そして体力が必要となる。
それは厳しい仕事を伴う約１０日間に及ぶ旅だ。
